Give your writing the gift of time: Tinui Station Homestead offers two cosy, private, self-catering cottages (each with its own spring-fed spa pool) in which to relax and write.
Writers will work surrounded by a beautiful garden, farmland, and native bush; chickens peck in the orchard while sheep and cattle graze nearby, and New Zealand native birds call from the trees. Take a break by hiking the Tinui Taipos, a limestone mountain outcrop overlooking the Homestead, or discovering the region's multiple wineries; beautiful beaches are a 15 minute drive away.
Fly into New Zealand's capital city, Wellington, a two-hour drive/one-hour train ride away.
Special discounts available for writers booking cottages by the week, 7 nights. A further 10% discount is offered for any writer wanting to book for 3 weeks or more.

The rural township and area of Tinui experiences mild winters, fresh Springs and warm Mediterranean style Summers. The Homestead Cottages are situated in a very private and totally safe rural setting, surrounded by farmland, bush and an historic limestone outcrop Mountain cluster, known as the Tinui Taipos. Beautiful, white sand beaches for both surfing and swimming are a 15 minute drive away and the nearest township of Masterton is a pleasant 40 minute drive through rural New Zealand farmland. The greater Wairarapa Region is known for its sumptious wines from multiple vineyards, restaurants, festivals, fishing, great biking and hiking options.
The capital of New Zealand, Wellington, is a 2 hour drive from Tinui, or a 55 minute train ride from Masterton.
